Morocco 3: Birds

Apart from the choughs, and generic raptors I have no idea (again)

This huge chap hovered over us on top of Toubkal, just to show how easily he'd floated up on the breeze,

and this one clearly showing off, maybe hoping for a bit of our picnic.

Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax, the red-billed chough at the refuge below Toubkal

Pyrrhocorax graculus, the Alpine chough everywhere else.

Grey wagtail, (Motacilla cinerea) such as we see along the canal here, bobbing around in wagtail fashion, I wonder why, it seems very energetic.

Pica pica mauritanica, North African magpie. A lousy photo, he was very shy, darting in heavy shade, but what a splendid blue eye. Petite compared with ours, they'd be really beautiful if they didn't have such nasty habits, I don't suppose he's much better than his British cousins.

And of course the unidentified LBJs
