Morocco 4: Food, Shelter and Shops

Anyone been trekking and not had lustful food conversations? Be honest! But with picnic lunches like these you don't really need them. 




Couscous is brilliant for ease and versatiity, the best-ever DofE/camping food, just douse it in boiling water and wait.


                                   

Tagine is, of course the classic Moroccan dish, anything cooked for a couple of hours with spices, a sort of stew volcano.



Mint tea, very sweet, has to be poured from a great height, refills seem to be standard outside tourist areas.

Who needs 5 stars, this is perfect.

Not as bad as it looks, clouds swirling up from the valley, quite transient.




Local shop, fizzy drinks, chocolate bars and Pringles. I find shops in other places fascinating. In Iceland you can buy horseshoes in the supermarkets.
